Wine-Paired Dinners

Wine and food go together like a wink and a smile! Kevin and his team will work with you to design a customized menu and accompanying wines to perfectly suit your occasion. Kevin will join your meal, leading you and your guests through an interactive experience where you will taste wine, discuss each pairing and learn how and why the food and wines balance each other out.

In-Person Tastings
Get the party started with a One-Hour Wine Expert event! This sit-down, classroom style, fast-paced wine tasting event is a great way to kick off a private party or corporate event.
Modeled after the introductory tasting classes Kevin created for his famous Windows on the World Wine School, this is a great way to introduce wine novices to the fundamentals of wine – grape varietals, regions, vocabulary and basic tasting techniques. It’s also an excellent refresher for those who have some knowledge of wine and want to delve into it a little deeper and build their confidence. During this fully customizable event, you can explore wine styles of the world, learn about your own tastes and preferences, build your wine vocabulary, understand basic food and wine pairing, and get to the bottom of common myths and other tales about wine, all while sipping on delicious wines and being entertained by Kevin’s engaging and accessible style of wine education.

Walk-Around Tastings
All the fun of a wine dinner – in motion! Kevin leads your group of wine enthusiasts from station to station, each featuring a wine and an hors d’oeuvre or small tasting plate of food. Guests enjoy them in tandem while Kevin discusses the wine, sharing why it was paired with that particular food item, how the two balance each other, and general principles of how to select wine to complement food.
Kevin will work with the chef/catering company to co-create the tasting menu, recommending caterers and venues if needed.
Four to five wines are carefully chosen by Kevin to pair with the hors d’oeuvres.

Private Dinners
Celebrating a milestone birthday, special anniversary or dinner with friends? Kevin’s special interactive dinners, guided by his vast wine expertise and engaging charismatic style of teaching, are an extraordinary way to commemorate any event. Kevin works with you to select the wines that complement your meal and joins the dinner conversation to guide you through the tasting, all while sharing stories and answering questions about wine, food and his 50 years of experience.
Kevin will work with you, your chef or catering company to create the dinner menu.
Three to five wines will be selected by Kevin to compliment the meal.

Private Tastings
Gather your friends and family for a private wine tasting! Kevin’s signature One Hour Wine Expert™class is a fast-paced one-hour wine tasting that can be taught in the privacy of your own home or virtually, by Zoom. Kevin will work with you to select a theme (French wines, Italian wines, your private collection, etc.), choose the wines that will be tasted, and make suggestions as to where you can purchase the wines. During this private tasting, Kevin’s engaging and accessible style of wine education will lead you through the exploration of wine styles of the world, and help you discover your wine tastes and preferences, build your wine vocabulary, and get to the bottom of common myths about wine. It’s the perfect event for guy’s/girl’s night, bachelor and bachelorette parties, engagement parties, birthdays, anniversaries and a variety of other occasions.
Kevin will work with you to determine a theme and select three to four wines to taste.
